The above picture is of Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN and I, Ronald J. Swartz, LMT in San Ignacio, Cayo District, Belize in March 2013.  I attended Certification class for the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®.

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® (ATMAT) are deeply nurturing and relaxing.  These marvolous techniques are non-invasive and non-sexual.  ATMAT restores the Vital Life Force, or Vix Medicatrix Naturae.  The Vital Life Force circulates through the body using the five channels of flow: arteries, veins, lymph, nerves and chi.

Homeostasis is the integrated flow of these forces, or balance within.  The body's system is created to be self-regulating, self-healing and self-repairing.  This natural state of health depends upon the unobstructed and unrestricted flow of the Vital Life Force through these five channels.

Hemodynamics is the study of the dynamics of blood circulation.  ATMAT may help to remove obstacles to the free and dynamic flow of arterial blood carrying nutrients, hormones and oxygen to the organs.

The Arvigo Technques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® works to promote proper hemodynamics and balanced homeostasis.  With these, we can live a long and prosperous life with functioning organs that digest, assimilate, eliminate and reproduce.
